Refund Policy

Last updated July 14, 2026 · Effective July 14, 2026

Our commitments, in plain terms
  • Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial — no card required, so there's nothing to refund until you actively subscribe.
  • Ask within 14 days of any charge and we'll refund it, no questions asked.
  • Cancel anytime; you keep access through the period you already paid for.
  • Web purchases are refunded through Paddle. iOS purchases go through Apple, since Apple processes that payment, not us.
Section 1
Overview
Plain English: We want you to feel good about paying for Lenerin. If you don't, tell us within 14 days and we'll make it right.

This policy covers refunds for Lenerin’s Basic and Family subscription plans. How a refund is processed depends on where you subscribed:

  • On the web (lenerin.com/dashboard/billing), your payment is collected by Paddle, our merchant of record.
  • In the iOS app, your payment is collected by Apple through an In-App Purchase, if that is how you subscribed.
Section 2
Free trial
Plain English: Nothing is charged during your 14-day trial. Cancel before it ends and you'll never see a charge.

Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with full access to the Service. We do not require a credit card to start a trial, and no charge occurs unless you actively choose and pay for a plan at the end of it. If you decide Lenerin isn’t for you, simply don’t subscribe — there’s nothing to cancel or refund.

Section 3
Web subscriptions (Paddle)
Plain English: Charged through the website? Ask within 14 days for a full refund, no reason needed.

If you subscribed through lenerin.com and were charged by Paddle, you can request a full refund within 14 days of that charge for any reason — we don’t ask why. Refunds are issued to your original payment method and are typically processed by Paddle within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Refunds after the 14-day window are considered on a case-by-case basis — see Exceptions below.

Section 4
iOS subscriptions (Apple)
Plain English: Subscribed inside the iOS app? Apple handles the refund, not us — but we'll help you find the right place.

If you subscribed through an In-App Purchase in the Lenerin iOS app, Apple processes that payment and, per Apple’s App Store terms, only Apple can issue the refund — we do not have the ability to refund an App Store charge directly.

To request an App Store refund:

  • Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the Lenerin charge, and choose “Request a refund”
  • Or, on your iPhone/iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Lenerin, or use the Apple Support app

Apple reviews and decides these requests according to its own policies and timelines, independent of Lenerin. If you contact us about an App Store charge, we’ll point you to the right place above — we’re glad to also confirm your subscription status or cancellation on our end if that’s useful for your request.

Section 5
How to request a refund
Plain English: Email us your account email and roughly when you were charged. We'll take it from there.

For web (Paddle) charges, email billing@lenerin.com with the email address on your Lenerin account and the approximate date of the charge. We’ll verify the charge and either issue the refund ourselves via Paddle or forward the request to Paddle directly, and confirm back to you either way within 2 business days.

You can also reach Paddle directly for a purchase made through them at paddle.net, referencing the order confirmation email Paddle sent you at checkout.

Section 6
Exceptions & abuse
Plain English: We reserve the right to decline refunds in cases of clear abuse of this policy.

We may decline a refund request, or limit future refunds on an account, where we reasonably believe the policy is being abused — for example, repeated trial-subscribe-refund cycles on the same household, or a chargeback filed without first contacting us. Outside of clear abuse, our default is to resolve refund requests in your favor.

Section 7
Cancelling vs. refunding
Plain English: Cancelling stops future charges. It doesn't by itself refund a charge you've already paid.

Cancelling your subscription (from Account → Billing, or from your Apple ID subscriptions page for iOS purchases) stops future renewals — you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for, and are not charged again. Cancelling does not automatically refund a charge already made; use the refund steps above if you’d like that charge returned.
